Web Developer/designer Somerset

A great opportunity to join an established Somerset Based Software Consultancy for a talented Web Developer/Designer.

Ideal candidate should have significant commercial exp of developing and maintaining websites in a business environment. Also exposure to on line Marketing, SEO would be very useful. Experience of HTML, PHP, JavaScript, SQL and mySQL is required.

Responsibilities will include

1)Develop and maintain a network of websites from a design/ structure point of view

2)Produce personalised landing pages to support specific marketing campaigns

3)Produce online collateral : rolling demos, online brochures

4)Explore addition of dynamic content tools such as blogs and discussion forums

5)Administer online marketing activities, including Google AdWords campaigns

6)Optimise the site for search engines, both design and content

7)Fine tune website structure/ content to increase conversion rate from enquirers (using site usage stats/ patterns)

8)Produce ideas to make the website more effective as a branding and sales tool

9)Establish successful partnerships with other websites and reciprocal links
